Abdoulaye Doucoure: The Malian that saved Everton

Football Retouch In their final game of the year, Everton defeated Bournemouth 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Doucoure, ensuring their continued participation in the Premier League. The midfielder urged his teammates to improve for the upcoming season, but he was not in the mood to claim victory as his team's savior.

Abdoulaye Doucoure says he does not deserve to be called a "hero" for Everton after his match-winning goal saved them from Premier League relegation.

Relegated teams are Leicester City – 34pts, Leeds United – 31pts, Southampton – 25pts
