As the battle for Central FKF Branch league approches its final stage, the lines have been drawn in Baringo County as the veteran Maji Mazuri FC are already champions with a match in hand.

Maji Mazuri who have played 25 matches out of the possible 26, have lost only 2 matches, drew 7 matches and won a total of 16 matches. Their last fixture has been scheduled on 14th September at Maji Mazuri stadium 1.00pm against a very tough and expirienced Chemogoch FC from mogotio.

FKF Central Rift 2019 Baringo County league had a total of 14 team where every team had to honor 26 matches across the season. The other teams are: Kipkitur, Baringo Youth, Muserech,  Marigat All Stars, Mumberes fc,  Kapropita, Mogotio Youth, Solian, Mote Youth, Ravine Soccer Centre, Kabimoi and Toniok 

Speaking to our news desk, Fkf Central rift Branch Chairman Kenneth Ruto congratulated the 14 teams that participated in Baringo Branch league 2019 season. He further applauded Maji Mazuri football club for their tremendous perfomance throughout out the season. He further revealed that by virtue that Maji Mazuri topped the league, they have been promoted to a higher tier National division two Central zone league where they'll join their neighbours Ravine Roses.

The trophy presetantion ceremony is slated for today afternoon after their match against Chemogoch at their home ground.
