2018 Sport Pesa shield cup tournament
Eight teams from central rift branch have made it to 2018 sport pesa shield cup tournament.
This has been revealed after football Kenya federation officially launched the tournament. The tournament has been scheduled to kick off on 1st June 2018 with a total of 64 teams participating. National Division two side Rainforest fc from Naivasha will be hosting KPL side Sony Sugar fc at Karuturi sports ground (also known as old Trafford ). Division one side Vegpro fc will be hosting Eldored based GFE 105 fc in Naivasha. Fkf central rift branch league side MKU Nakuru will be hosting NSL side Kisumu all-stars at Afraha stadium, NSL and Nakuru based side Nakuru all stars will be playing away to Riverplate fc,
Central rift branch league side Nakuru west combined fc will be hosting NSL side police fc at afraha stadium. KPL side Ulinzi stars will be playing away to Transmillan fc. Division two side Egerton university fc will be hosting NSL (former KPL) side western stima fc. Division one and Elburgon based Timsales fc will playing away to Bungoma super stars in Bungoma county.

Winners of this tournament will pocket two million shillings while runners up will secure one million shillings. Third and forth position will walk away with ksh 750,000 and ksh 500,000 respectively.
